Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (SM-G988) Upper Microphone Repair

We repair the upper microphone of your Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. This microphone is located in the upper part of the device near the earpiece and front camera and is replaced at component level.

Symptoms that may indicate a defective upper microphone:
- The person you are talking to cannot hear you or can only hear you very faintly during video calls.
- When recording videos with the front camera, the sound is heavily muffled, distorted or silent.
- Noise cancellation during calls does not work properly – the person you are talking to hears disturbing background noise.
- In speakerphone mode, you are heard poorly or not at all.

As this is a component-level repair, it is only possible by appointment.
