Mounting a screen protector/tempered glass on your Samsung smartphone with a curved display

Tempered glass is designed to protect the display from drops and scratches. A normal screen protector only protects against scratches. The idea is that in the event of a severe drop, the screen protector breaks instead of the display. We take responsibility for the installation and guarantee that the screen protector will be applied dust-free and bubble-free.

Depending on the model, we offer various options for screen protectors / tempered glass:

Edge Glue Tempered Glass

This tempered glass only adheres at the edges and at the fingerprint sensor.

Advantages:
• It is the most affordable tempered glass.

Disadvantages:
• Screen quality and touch sensitivity are slightly reduced due to air between the tempered glass and the display.
• Less strong adhesion.
• Dust can get under the tempered glass over time.

UV Tempered Glass

The main difference to conventional tempered glass is that UV tempered glass comes with a special UV adhesive. This adhesive is applied to the display and the tempered glass is positioned on top. The glass is then exposed to a UV lamp, which hardens the adhesive and ensures strong and uniform adhesion.

Advantages:
• Despite the robust protective layer, screen transparency is fully maintained, and the touch sensitivity of the display is not affected.
• The fingerprint sensor works perfectly through the glass.
• Small scratches disappear completely and cracks are significantly less visible.
• Ideal for curved or bezel-less displays, as it offers a perfect fit.

Disadvantages:
• Installation takes about 15 minutes.
• It is the best, but most expensive, tempered glass on the market.
